About

Me? I like to build things and to dissect / understand everything.
It could be houses, cars, legos or anything else for that matter. It just so happens Web / Mobile Development is what caught my eye. I'm guessing I could be equally happy as a carpenter, engineer, or architect.

I started programming in BASIC when I was 8 on my grandma's 386. From there I moved on to bigger and better things like taking apart the kitchen phone, the stereo, my 1st computer, anything I could get my hands on. I started making websites when I was 13. Had my first free-lance commercial web development job by 15. I went to college for computer science but quickly switched to an art/design major to round out my abilities. That has proven to be a good choice as it helps me communicate more effectively with designers and artists that I work with on a daily basis.

I love projects that are cutting edge and make me learn something new. I like making things happen on the web that are extraordinary and push the limits of today's technology.

When I'm not making stuff for money
I'm making stuff for fun! Software, apps, games, pretty things made of wood, robots, IoT, 3d printing, art, paintings, drawing, set / prop design, music, animation, projector mapping / motion capture...
I really like making things.

What is itslennysfault.com?
This site is where I do whatever I want. At least that's the idea. I created this site primarily to showcase my work, resume, projects, etc. However, I will also use it as a blog and to post anything that I find interesting.

Is it really Lenny's fault?
Yes! Wait, no. Well not always. The name came from a small sarcastic argument which ended in the decision that everything is my fault and resulted in me creating an AIM name ItsLennysFault. That was years ago, but the name stuck with me and transferred into this domain name / website. However, if you really want to blame any of life's problems on me feel free.

What's with this site design?
I designed everything myself (Except the logo which was designed by Eddie Dehais). I wanted to do something bright and happy. The blog is powered by wordpress. The rest is just a static php site.
